As the doors open, the inviting aroma of sizzling garlic and soy sauce greets visitors, creating a promise of flavors yet to be experienced.

The menu at China One does not disappoint. It's amazing how they manage to strike a balance between the classic Chinese dishes everyone knows and a few innovative surprises. Dive into the Kung Pao Chicken, which dances gracefully with the right amount of spice, perfectly complemented by crunchy peanuts and fresh green onions. Or perhaps venture into the Orange Beef; the crispy exterior and tangy, sweet glaze offer a perfect symphony of textures and tastes.

What's fantastic about China One is the way these dishes reflect authenticity yet somehow cater to local palates. The spring rolls deserve special mention, packed tightly with fresh vegetables, encased in a wrapper that crisps up to golden perfection, they're an ideal start to the meal. For those with a penchant for heat, the Szechuan offerings kick things up a notch, each bite firing up taste buds in just the right way.

I was apprehensive about ordering food based on the reviews but actually the food wasn’t bad. The fried wontons were great, and the soup and chicken chow mein were not bad. I also got two fortune cookies and when I asked for soy sauce, I got two packets. I simply asked for more and got them.
